What's Going On In Worcester County, Maryland?

December 29, 2025

As we read about billions of dollars of fraud in the State of Minnesota and other so called "blue states," many of us in Maryland are aware of alleged fraud and financial malfeasance in Maryland. These allegations include the City of Baltimore as well as small towns and cities in the state. Some of these instances are currently under investigation by either state or federal law enforcement. Other towns have sent proof of wrongdoing to the Maryland AG's office, etc. and are waiting for further action.

On Wednesday, December 23, the Easton Gazette was sent information that the Worcester County Board of Education had been raided by state or federal auditors/investigators. While we wait for confirmation/additional information on that story, we have included links to stories published by the Delmarva Parent Teacher Coalition and the Delmarva Times regarding possible problems in the Worcester County Public Schools.

The links are posted in chronological order from earliest to most recent.

This is a developing story, and we will continue to report on it in the coming weeks and months. We are not sure what or if there is a connection between the above facts and the law enforcement raid.

The bottom line is that the citizens and taxpayers of the state and, in particular cities and towns, need to pay attention to what is happening with their local and state governments. If there is no wrongdoing, that is great! But, when state, county and local agencies believe no one is paying close attention, serious problems and malfeasance can and often do develop.
