The Russians thought Hillary Clinton would win the 2016 Presidential Election. How do we know?
We know because in Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, while releasing the information on how the Obama Administration rewrote a National Security Report to make it look like President Elect Donald Trump had colluded with Russia to fix the 2016 election, also released some dirt that Putin had on Clinton.
It was dirt they didn't want to release until after Clinton would have been elected.
Gabbard released information and proof on Friday that the Obama Administration manufactured the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment that they know was not true. Here is a link to that information:
The files detail how President Barrack Obama and members of his senior staff including John Brennan, James Clapper, Joe Biden, Susan Rice, etc. worked to subvert Trump's election by making spurious allegations. Gabbard conducted a press conference regarding this information earlier today:

Some of the most surprising information centered around Hillary Clinton that the Russians said they had but did not release.

The Russians cited evidence that Clinton had serious health issues that she kept secret. Obama Administration officials were deeply concerned about her health. The report also said that Hillary was on "heavy tranquilizers" and was suffering "intensified psycho-emotional problems."
The rest of the report discusses her Type 2 diabetes, ischemic heart disease, deep vein thrombosis, and COPD.
The Russians also talked about the fact that Clinton was leading the race and Trump only had "minimal chances" to win. There were alleged instances of bribery by State Department staff to religious organizations to support Clinton, who would then give those organizations preferred access to "post-soviet" countries.
It's clear the Russians thought Clinton would win and they would release much of the information against her.
The Obama Administration at the upper levels wanted Trump out. They would be more than happy to have Vice President Mike Pence as the President because they knew they could control him. And, let's not forget that at the time, Paul Ryan was Speaker of the House and would then be the Vice President.
None of those things happened, but the first Trump team was clearly handcuffed by the constant attacks of the media, Democrats in Congress, and deep state operators.
Gabbard has sent the report to the Department of Justice for Attorney General Pam Bondi to determine what legal action is appropriate. This story will continue to develop.
