Dave Donovan, the challenger in the Oxford Commissioner's won the election by 44 votes on Tuesday, defeating incumbent Tom Costigan. Costigan served on the Commission since 2022. Four hundred two people voted in the election.

The margin of victory was the most since Katrina Greer won her seat in 2023. Last year's election was decided by 12 votes.
Donovan's term will begin the first Thursday in July.
