Robert Kennedy Jr. ended his presidential campaign today. He described the Democrat party as the party of war, censorship, corruption, big Pharma, big tech, and big money."
He moved the focus of his statement to the Democrats' nominee, Kamala Harris.
"The DNC and its media organs engineered a surge of popularity for VP Harris based on nothing. No policies, no interviews, no debates. Only smoke and mirrors."
The recent independent candidate then threw his support behind Donald Trump:
In his statement, Kennedy compared the Democrats' collusion with the legacy media and use of federal agencies to target political adversaries to that of Vladimir Putin. Kennedy said that he and Trump had met several time and still have differences, but that they were aligned on ending "forever" wars, children's health, and the border.
RFK Jr: "He told me President Trump was anxious to talk to me about chronic disease and other subjects, and to explore avenues of cooperation. He asked if I would take a call from the president. President Trump telephoned me a few minutes later, and I met with him the following day. A few weeks later, I met again with President Trump and his family members and close advisers in Florida. In a series of long, intense discussions. I was surprised to discover that we are aligned on many key issues. And those meetings, he suggested that we join forces as a unity party. We talked about Abraham Lincoln's team of rivals. That arrangement would allow us to disagree publicly and privately, and fiercely if today on issues over which we differ while working together on the existential issues upon which we are in concordance."
Harris refused to meet with Kennedy or even speak to him.
