    Discrepancies exist between the Ad on INDEED and the AD on the Town's Website.

    The Town of Oxford is currently advertising for the office of Town Manager. A job description is posted on the Oxford Town website:

    City Manager/Administrator (oxfordmd.net)

    According to the description, no degrees, certifications or training are required for the position.

    An application is available on the site as well:

    THIS WAS STATED ON THE TOWN WEBSITE :

    We are currently accepting applications for Oxford Town Manager. We will begin scheduling interviews May 1, 2024 and continue until the position is filled. Please complete the Employment Application below and forward by email to [email protected].

    This posting is to replace Cheryl Lewis who will retire as of June 30th.

    HOWEVER: The job posting on Indeed is slightly different than the one posted on the Town's website:

    Oxford Town Manager - Oxford, MD 21654 - Indeed.com

    On the Indeed ad it indicates a REQUIRED three years in "Government Management." This is NOT on the Town's Ad.

    It also lists PREFERRED three years Coastal/Floodplain Planning experience that is NOT on the Town's Ad.
