After Ditching The Democrat Party, Weingarten Desires More Global Money And Power for the American Federation of Teachers

It seems Randi Weingarten has been in the news a lot lately. After her major hissy fit over Trump demolishing the Department of Education, Randi decided to write a book and promote the hateful diatribe while millions of Americans were mourning the violent assassination of Charlie Kirk. It wouldn't had been so bad if Randi hadn't spent most of her book calling conservatives NAZIS and fascists, terms that engender violence among the weak minded and easily influenced.
Before she published the book, Randi left her position with the Democrat National Committee, stating that their goals and hers no longer aligned. In a quote from her resignation letter, Weingarten stated she was “out of step with the leadership you are forging” and didn’t want to be the one “questioning why we are not enlarging our tent and actively trying to engage more of our communities.” Our translation? "The U.S. Democrat Party is failing. I want more money and power. I'm out of here."
When she said "enlarging our tent" she really meant it. She meant enlarging the American Federation of Teacher's tent to include the World Economic Forum, a global group that has made statements about removing the right of personal property ownership, requiring digital I.D.'s for everyone, creating 15-minute cities, mandating extreme climate change rules, and adopting centralized control over all manufacturing.
We also cannot forget their collusion with big pharmaceutical companies to force the Covid vaccine on people. The WEF collaborated with organizations like Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and the WHO to promote the vaccine regardless of data that showed the vaccine was neither safe nor effective.
In other words, the WEF wants the world to be China. They even published an article about it:

The American Federation of Teachers wants the same.
If you read this glowing report, you may forget the horrible oppression and true tyranny that China consistently uses to keep its population in line. No one can forget their social credit system via digital I.D.
While the leftists in the U.S. worry about an employer removing an unsuccessful, hateful television "comic" from their channels, China takes the most efficient route, banishment, torture, and, in the case of the Uyghurs, genocide to rid itself of those who step out of line.
The WEF, which has stated in the past, "You will own nothing, and you will be happy" and promoted "The Great Reset" during the pandemic, thinks China is creating something really great. The organization loves partnering up with people who are willing to establish a one world authoritarian government. Who can forget the images of Klaus Schwab as he extolled the concept of global management of businesses, food production, medical mandates, digital I.D.'s and economic development.

Schwab recently stepped down as leader of the WEF amid internal investigations into whistleblower allegations of financial impropriety and research manipulation.
Now, Randi Weingarten and the American Federation of Teachers are working with the World Economic Forum to create a new "manufacturing-focused curriculum" for students all over the world, including those in the U.S. That sounds nice, doesn't it? It sounds like why schools were founded in the first place, to provide factory workers.
During the 19th century, especially in places like Prussia, the United States and England, the rise of industrial capitalism created a demand for a disciplined, literate, and punctual workforce. Factory owners and industrialists were among the strongest advocates for universal education—not necessarily to foster creativity, but to instill obedience, routine, and basic skills needed for factory work.

They weren't focused on a well-rounded education for what they called the "unwashed masses."
Mind you, there is nothing wrong with being a "factory worker," but what happens when all the education is geared towards that end?
Weingarten, who professes to have "spent her life trying to make schools better," wants to make schools better at producing factory workers, just like China! The curriculum she hopes to help create with the WEF would be applied in many countries in the world, providing standardized and "One World" Chinese style indoctrination to all the world's children. She claims this curriculum would replace other curriculums which measure success via "test scores." Obviously, Randi has seen the disastrous test scores of American students and needs those to disappear. No one can complain about test scores if they don't exist!
Randi uses the pandemic as the excuse for these scores, even though it was the teacher's unions that demanded schools stay closed during and even PAST that time. The following documentary details what unions did:

Altogether, it seems that Weingarten is reading the writing on the wall and sees that the Democrat party can no longer provide her the political power and money she needs. She also sees that young people in this country are catching onto the damage her version of socialist education does. She needs to garner the help of the World Economic Forum, a group that shares her vision and is funded by those billionaires she and her cohorts complain about all the time.

Weingarten also has another initiative with the WEF that she is promoting. It's one called the "AI Academy" where the AFT would develop a course of study to help teachers use AI ethically and effectively in the classroom. They are partnering with Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, and the United Federation of Teachers*. While we agree with Randi that parts of AI are frightening and others are useful and that its adaptation must be carefully monitored, it's interesting to see the organizations she wants to partner with.

Weingarten is very interested in this topic and particularly the biased effect of social media on students. While the above investigations were launched in 2024, recent testimony in Congress has revealed that many social media companies were used by the Biden Administration to censor citizen speech:

No wonder Weingarten wanted to partner with them. I'm thinking she prefers a Chinese style censorship for our students.
