These are pictures from the Oxford Strand Beach Restoration Project taken Monday, April 15.
It appears they are adding more sand to the beach. Last week, a resident reported that the water extending out from the beach had gotten shallower due to sand leaching off the beach into the Tred Avon River.
At Tuesday night's Commissioner's meeting, concerns regarding the safety of some of the features of the restoration. Many of these features were still present as of Monday, April 15.
