As he did approximately a year ago, former President Donald Trump made a stop at the Moms for Liberty Annual Summit in Washington D.C. Last year, he addressed the group in what could be considered a campaign speech. This year Trump appeared in a more relaxed conversational format with the group's co-founder Tiffany Justice.
Florida Congressman Byron Donalds introduced Trump. Donalds, a longtime supporter of Trump's, recalled his own history as a young child in Brooklyn, New York and how his mother fought for him:

Then he introduced Trump.
Trump took the stage to raucous cheers and Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA." In an unusual format for Trump, who had just traveled to D.C. after a rally at Johnstown, PA earlier in the day, the former President sat for an informal conversation with Justice who supplied questions. Here is the entire conversation on C-Span:

Here is his position on parental rights;
"I'm for parental rights all the way. I don't even understand the concept of not being (for parental rights)...When you see some of the things they want to do on these school boards that become like dictatorships and the parents are screaming for the life of their child, a lot having to do with transgender a lot have to do with a lot of other things, you've got to give the parents...the parents truly love the kids, okay? Some of these people on the boards I don't think they like kids much with what they're doing, so you have to give the rights back to parents."
"This administration has been the opposite. This administration it's like the FBI goes have after the parents like it's some kind of insurrection. It's crazy."
In other statements, Trump continued to talk about the crime committed by illegals in this country, the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, his time on the Apprentice, and his recent visit with Gold Star parents at Arlington National Cemetery.
The conversation ended with Justice giving her PERSONAL endorsement for Trump since the organization cannot do endorsements of any other candidates besides school board candidates.
Trump thanked her for that.
The attendees gave him a standing ovation.
UPDATE: One local Maryland establishment news organization, THE STAR DEMOCRAT, incorrectly stated in a recent article that implied the Moms for Liberty Organization officially supported Trump. As usual, the STAR DEMOCRAT, which is part of a large, left leaning news organization Adams Publishing Group Home - Adams Publishing Group (adamspg.com) promoted MISINFORMATION.
