Former President Donald Trump will make a return to the Moms for Liberty National Summit in Washington D.C. on Friday, August 30. Trump, who spoke to the group last year in Philadelphia, will present twice, once in an address to the group and then in a follow up "fireside chat" with the group's co-founder Tiffany Justice.
Moms for Liberty is a national group which supports and defends parental rights. There are 300 chapters in 48 states. Parents, community members, and families from all over the country who work to empower parents to defend their parental rights across all levels of government. Moms for Liberty is one of the groups who have filed suit against the Biden/Harris administration over the "retconning" of Title IX. They earned an injunction against the re-write.
Trump has promised to return control of education to local jurisdictions and to dismantle the Department of Education and is a big supporter of parental rights.
The annual summit will run from August 29 through September 1 and will feature such speakers as Rob Schneider, Glen Beck, Alveda King, and Riley Gaines as well as many more.
In 2023, Trump was joined by other candidates for President including Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy.
