We're not sure which intern or staffer posted this on "X" yesterday, but they may want to update their job search resume.

The Republican National Convention steam rolls through the week and President Trump, after an attempt on his life, seems stronger than ever. And, just like that, Biden announces he has Covid and cancels a speech in Las Vegas. Millions watch him creep up steps to Air Force One:

Many can't resist pointing out the irony in the situation. After all, Biden was the one who promised a winter of death for those who didn't get the Covid shot, yet even though he has had the shot and booster numerous times, is the one who keeps catching the virus. In this video from 2021, he tries to tell everyone how effective the shot and boosters are:

As an acquaintance of mine would say, "Oops!"

Many insist this is a way for Biden to take the advice of many in the Democrat party, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and bow out of the race. Biden's poll numbers are miserable, his decline mentally and physically is more evident than ever, and unrest among his former supporters is devastating. Conjecture is that his own stubbornness, desire to protect his son and family from criminal charges, and his wife's political ambition are the only thing keeping him in.

Responses to the post on "X" were brutally abrupt:

The last post could be the most troubling for the Biden campaign staff since it perpetuates the idea that the Democrat party is done with Biden and finding any way possible to get him out of the race in 2024. If a clearly left biased publication as the New York Times is saying this, there are many in the party thinking this will happen. Will Covid be the reason?

It would make perfect sense. Imagine the new Democrat party talking points about the situation:

1. Biden bravely fought Covid and exposed himself too many times by traveling to save the world.
2. It's Donald Trump's fault. If Trump had eradicated Covid sooner, Biden would not have caught it.
3. It's Donald Trump's fault, he gave Biden the placebo vaccines.
4. It's Donald Trump's fault. He infected Biden during the debate because Trump is probably a carrier.
5. Donald Trump is a dictator. He is also racist, sexist, and every other nasty thing we can think of. (Yes, this last one has nothing to do with Covid, but it is the same points Dems make every time.)
6. Biden is trying to ramp down the rhetoric by getting sick.

It's becoming clear every day that the Biden Team is in disarray. This latest fiasco is just one more sign.
