Maryland Democratic Governor Wes Moore, who is a campaign surrogate for President Joe Biden offered his thoughts on the CNN 2024 presidential debate on FOX Business Friday. “No one can argue Biden had a great night, but no one can argue Trump had a great presidency,” said the governor.
Van Jones, a former Obama/Biden advisor on CNN immediately following the debate, called Biden's performance "painful."
"That was painful. I love Joe Biden. I worked for Joe Biden. He did not do well at all. He is doing the best that he can. He had a test to meet tonight to restore confidence of the country and the base and he failed to do that and that was not what we needed from Joe Biden. And, it is personally painful for a lot of people. It is not just panic- it is pain of what we saw tonight," said Jones.
