H.R. 3935: Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization: PASSED
The FAA oversees America's aviation is responsible for setting standards necessary to ensure the safety of all pilots, crews and passengers. The FAA had to be reauthorized in order to keep up that work. Congressman Harris voted in favor of the reauthorization.
H.R. 7343 : Detain and Deport Illegal Aliens Who Assault Cops Act: PASSED
The Southern Border under the Biden Administration is a disaster. This act would deport and illegal alien who assaults a police officer. The bill passed with bi-partisan support except for 148 radical Democrats who voted against it. They stand with criminals rather than law enforcement.
H. Res. 1213: A resolution regarding violence against law enforcement officers- PASSED
This resolution, which wrapped up National Police Week, shows that the House of Representatives stand behind the brave men and women in law enforcement who keep our communities safe.
H. Res. 1210: Condemning the Biden border crisis and the tremendous burden law enforcement officers face as a result. PASSED
Harris joined his fellow House of Republicans and voted for this resolution which condemns the Biden Administration's failure to secure our Southern border thus allowing many criminals to cross into our country and commit rampant crime.
H.R. 8369: Israel Security Assistance Support Act - PASSED
This act will curb President Biden's efforts to withhold critical security resources by compelling the delivery of defensive weapons to Israel as they fight against radical terrorists.
Congressman Harris on the House floor during National Police Week to honor the memory of Wicomico County Sheriff's Deputy Glenn Hilliard, a heroic Eastern Shore police officer who was killed in the line of duty while protecting his community from a violent criminal.
