The cabal of Democrat prosecutors and New York judiciary have kept President Donald Trump off the campaign trail for over three weeks, with the exception of a day off on May 1st that the presumptive Republican nominee used to barnstorm Michigan and Wisconsin.
Trump's pretrial comments today were brief but pointed.
"If any Jewish person voted for Biden, they should be ashamed of themselves...he's totally abandoned Israel...he did it as a political decision. You have to do it as the right decision, not the political decision."
With a tactic designed to thwart the onerous gag order imposed by conflicted Judge Juan Merchan, Trump quoted Jonathan Turley, Alan Dershowitz, Andrew McCarthy, Rebecca Rosewood, and Ted Cruz, among others. The quotes underscored the lack of legal standing of the trial, which has proceeded despite clear evidence of Merchan's multiple conflicts of interest.
Merchan's daughter, Loren Merchan, heads a political consultancy firm named Authentic Campaigns. The firm has raised $90 million for clients such as Adam Schiff (D-CA). More disqualifying still, it has explicitly used the Trump trial as fodder for its fundraising efforts.
Trump concluded his remarks by opining that the gravest threat faced by the U.S. is domestic, not foreign. The political left, he declared, is "a bigger problem than China or Russia...it's from the left, not the right."
Meanwhile, other lawfare cases against Trump are facing mounting issues due to prosecutorial misconduct and evidentiary miscues.
