The Republican led House voted 214-213 on Tuesday night to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

The two articles of impeachment will be sent to the Senate for a potential trial.

The two articles alleged that Mayorkas handling of the southern U.S. border crisis involved both a "breach of trust" and a "willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law."

The first vote on the impeachment resolution failed by two votes last week after nearly three hours of debate on the House floor.

Congressman  Blake Moore (R-Utah) changed his vote from yes to no so the resolution would be able to be reconsidered.

The number of illegals crossing the southern border into the U.S. since Joe Biden has been sworn in as president in 2021 are staggering and unprecedented - nearly eight million from over 160 countries.

Unaccompanied children are almost five times higher during the Biden Administration than under the Obama administration, and almost eight times higher than under Trump.

A U.S. border escort told CMD.Press that he actually delivered a three-month old infant, who was smuggled across the border to someone in the U.S. who was not even vetted.
