• Talbot County Sheriff's Department Arrests for December 2023

    Extradition/Warrant Arrest: On December 19, 2023, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Samantha Joy Swartzentruber, 34 of Greensboro, MD.
    Deputies completed an extradition from Baylor's Women’s Correctional Center, New
    Castle, Delaware where she was being held. On November 8, 2023, arrest warrants were
    issued charging Swartzentruber with escape, violation of probation and failing to appear
    for a scheduled court hearing on the original charge of possession of a controlled
    substance. Swartzentruber was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility
    for processing and was ordered held without bond pending further court action.

    Warrant Arrest: On December 19, 2023, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Alonzo Colvin, 60 of Baltimore City, MD. On
    December 2, 2022, the Circuit Court for Talbot County issued an arrest warrant charging
    Colvin with failure to appear for a trial or hearing on the original charge of theft. Colvin
    was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and was
    ordered held without bond pending further action by the courts.

    Warrant Arrest: On December 20, 2023, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Heidi Marie Moniem, 44 of Easton, MD. On December
    11, 2023, the District Court for Talbot County issued an arrest warrant charging Moniem
    with violation of probation on the original charge of failure to send child to school.
    Moniem was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing
    and an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. Moniem was released on
    her personal recognizance.

    Warrant Arrest: On December 20, 2023, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Timothy Wayne Kilmon, 60 of St Michaels, MD. On
    December 15, 2023, the Circuit Court for Talbot County issued an arrest warrant
    charging Kilmon with failure to appear for a trial or hearing on the original charge of
    illegal possession of a regulated firearm. Kilmon was transported to the Talbot County
    Central Booking facility for processing and was ordered held without bond pending
    further action by the court.

    Warrant Arrest: On December 21, 2023, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Lucas John Merriken, 27 of St Michaels, MD. On
    December 18, 2023, the District Court for Talbot County issued an arrest warrant
    charging Merriken with failure to appear for a trial or hearing after being notified to do so
    on the original charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Merriken was
    transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial
    appearance before a District Court Commissioner. Merriken was released on his personal
    recognizance.

    Warrant Arrest: On December 27, 2023, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Yordi Ivan Sanchez-Perez, 21 of Easton, Maryland. On
    September 27, 2023, the District Court for Talbot County issued an arrest warrant
    charging Sanchez-Perez for violation of probation on the original charge of driving while
    impaired by alcohol. Sanchez-Perez was transported to the Talbot County Central
    Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court
    Commissioner. Sanchez-Perez was released on his personal recognizance.

    Warrant Arrest: On December 30, 2023, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Ty'Aishah Amya Moody, 18 of Cambridge, MD. On
    October 28, 2023, the District Court for Talbot County issued an arrest warrant charging
    Moody with assault, disorderly conduct and disturbing school operations. Moody was
    transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial
    appearance before a District Court Commissioner. Moody was held pending further
    action by the court.

    Warrant Arrest: On December 31, 2023, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Joshua Aaron Marshall, 33 of Cambridge, MD. On
    December 20, 2023, the Circuit Court for Talbot County issued an arrest warrant
    charging Marshall with failing to appear for a scheduled court hearing on the original
    charge of assault. Marshall was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility
    for processing and was ordered held without bond pending further action by the Circuit
    Court Judge.

    Warrant Arrest: On January 2, 2024, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Daniel Rolando Diaz-Lopez, 26 of Bridgeville, DE. On
    August 5, 2023, the District Court for Worcester County issued an arrest warrant
    charging Diaz-Lopez with failure to appear for a scheduled court hearing on the original
    charge of driving without a license. Diaz-Lopez was transported to the Talbot County
    Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court
    Commissioner. Diaz-Lopez was held pending further action by the court.

    Warrant Arrest: On January 20, 2024, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Nicholas Todd Robbins, 23 of Cambridge, Maryland.
    On December 12, 2023, the District Court for Talbot County issued an arrest warrant
    charging Robbins with failing to appear for a scheduled court hearing on the original
    charge of driving on a suspended license. Robbins was transported to the Talbot County
    Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court
    Commissioner. Robbins was held pending further action by the court.

    Warrant Arrest: On January 20, 2024, Deputies from the Talbot
    County Sheriff's Office arrested Benjamin Sherwood Byers, 63 of Easton, Maryland. On
    January 2, 2024, the Circuit Court for Talbot County issued an arrest warrant charging
    Byers with violation of probation on the original charge of assault. Byers was transported
    to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance
    before a District Court Commissioner. Byers was held pending further action by the
