While the Presidential election in 2024 captures the headlines, there are many smaller races that are just as important.

The Talbot County Board of Education members are elected in alternating years. In 2022, Districts 1,3,4, and 7 elections were contested. This year, Districts 2,5, and 6 are on the ballot. Board of Education elections are non-partisan and only voters in the designated district can vote for their representative. Candidates must live in their district to run
